# Basiskort

The alternative for those who cannot or do not wish to travel using the Rejsekort app

The physical Rejsekort will be discontinued in May 2026.

The Basic Card is an alternative for those who cannot or do not wish to use an app when travelling.

**How to travel with the Basic Card**

The Basic Card is a physical card that you use by checking in and out on the new yellow terminals – called Check Points.

You must check in every time you board and check out every time you get off.
 This also applies when transferring, even if you continue with the same type of transport.

**How to order a Basic Card**

The easiest way is to order your Basic Card through Self‑service. It only takes a few minutes, and the card will be sent directly to your home.

During 2026, it will also become possible to purchase the Basic Card at selected sales locations.

**School Cards and Special Cards on the Basic Card**

The current school cards will be replaced by the Basic Card.
 However, this will not happen until the start of the 2026/27 school year. Until then, you should continue using your existing card.

The special senior cards in Vejle, Kolding, and Billund, as well as the Billund Youth Card, will also be replaced by the Basic Card.
 We do not yet know the date for this change, but we will keep you updated directly by email or on our website.
