If you are a senior citizen, here you can find an overview of your options for using public transport.

This also applies if you receive early retirement benefits or have a disability card with a companion certificate.

Sydtrafik offers several tickets and cards that provide discounts on your bus travel.

## Offers from the municipality

If you are a **state pensioner** and live in **Billund**, **Kolding**, or **Vejle** Municipality, you can purchase a senior travel card that is valid for an entire year at a fixed low price.

## Which ticket type is best and cheapest for you depends on how often you travel.

                                    Do you travel rarely…

Here you can buy a single ticket with cash on the bus. You can also buy a ticket via the Rejsebillet app, where you can pay with MobilePay or a payment card.

The single ticket is our most expensive ticket and comes without any discount.

                                    Do you travel occasionally…

Here, a travel card (Rejsekort) is a good solution for bus, train and metro. It is cheaper than buying single tickets, and it is also easier to use.

Rejsekort is available in a pensioner version, allowing you to travel at a reduced price compared to a single ticket. If you travel frequently, it becomes even cheaper.

                                    Do you travel every day…

Here, a commuter card is the cheapest solution. You can get a commuter card as a travel card (Rejsekort) or on your mobile phone in the Rejsebillet app.

                                    Ticket inspection on the bus

Identification must be carried during the journey and shown upon request.

If you are entitled to travel on a child ticket, you must present a companion card issued by the Disability Organizations’ User Service (Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice).
