As a young person or student, you can get discounts on your travel

Your type of education determines which bus card you can get.

If you attend school, you may—depending on your municipality and the distance to school—be eligible for a school card.

If you are a student in upper secondary education or higher education, you can get a Youth Card (Ungdomskort) at a reduced price. The Youth Card can be used both for commuting between your home and educational institution and for travel in your free time.

Even if you are not in education but are simply between 16 and 25 years old, Sydtrafik offers cards that provide discounts.

## Offers from the municipality

If you attend school and live in Haderslev, Sønderborg, Aabenraa, or Tønder Municipality, the municipality offers a free school card that can be used for travel within the entire municipality.

If you are a student in upper secondary education and live in Aabenraa Municipality, you can receive a subsidy for the Youth Card (Ungdomskort).

In Billund Municipality, you can get a special travel card that allows you to travel by bus for an entire year at a low price.
