Flextur is public transport, just with smaller vehicles that operate on demand. It is door-to-door service according to your needs. You share the ride with others, and the vehicle may take a detour to pick them up.
Anyone can use Flextur. You just need to be able to get in and out of the car by yourself.
If you are a wheelchair user and need to stay in your wheelchair during the trip, you can use Flextur if the only assistance you need is to be lifted in and out of the car.
You can use Flextur every day of the week from 6 am to midnight. However, Flextur cannot be used on 24/12 and 31/12. You can book up to 14 days in advance, but always at least 1 hour before pickup.
When you book a ride with a desired time, it will be no more than 15 minutes before and no later than 45 minutes after. You will be informed of the scheduled time.
Waiting time: You should be ready at the roadside/curb from 5 minutes before to 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
On time arrival? If you need to catch a train or have a hairdresser appointment, just tell us by what time you need to arrive at the latest. We calculate backwards to make sure you make it on time. Therefore, you often arrive well in time, but no more than 30 minutes early.

You can pay for your Flextur in the following ways:
- You can pay cash to the driver upon boarding. Please try to have the exact amount.
- You can pay the driver with your payment card (VISA and Mastercard) when boarding.
You can book by calling Flextrafik at +45 76 608 608 every day between 8 am and 6 pm.
The introductory speech is in Danish: Press 1 to book and press 2 for the call not to be recorded. After that, you will speak to a person.
There is an online self-service and an app available if you have MitID, a Danish phone number, and a Danish address.
Cancel in the same way you booked by calling Flextrafik at +45 76 608 608.
NB: Cancellation must happen at least one hour before the ride.
You can use Flextur for travel throughout Sydtrafik's and Midttrafik's areas.
Flextur cannot be used for internal travel within the city of Kolding. Instead, you should take the city bus.
Flextur cannot be used on islands without a bridge connection.
When you book, you must inform us if you are bringing the following:
- Guests: You can bring up to 3 guests at half price per person. Everyone must get on and off at the same address.
- Luggage: 2 pieces in total - Max 11 kg each.
- Wheelchair or other assistive devices.
- Stroller or car seat for child traveling with you. You must bring your own car seat/booster seat, and it must be secured according to legal requirements.
- Animals: Small animals in bags/boxes can be brought for free. Service dogs and guide dogs can be brought if they are approved by the municipality as an aid.
We are delayed if you are not picked up 15 minutes after the scheduled time. We will resolve it as quickly as possible if you call Flextrafik at +45 76 608 608 and press 2.
