Billund Airport

Travelling there are good opportunities to use public transport to and from Billund Airport.

Buses from Sydtrafik and Midttrafik run many times a day to Vejle, Give, Esbjerg, Kolding, Skanderborg and Aarhus, from where there are train connections to the rest of Denmark.

Plan your trip

The easiest way to find out when the bus runs is by using rejseplanen.dk or the rejseplanen app. The itinerary also makes it easier to plan your journey if you are travelling further than just with the above-mentioned buses.

Rejsekort machine at the airport

You can buy your bus ticket in the rejsekort machine at the exit of the airport terminal. This applies to all routes except to Aarhus, where the ticket only can be bought on the bus. You can also top up your travel card in the machine.

It is only possible to pay by card in the machine and you can use the following cards: Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, V Pay, JCB and UnionPay.

If you do not have a card, the ticket must be bought on the bus, where you can pay with Danish kroner and Euros.
